 The papaya tree grows anywhere between 5 meters and 10 meters or 16 feet and 33 feet.

    It is a fast growing tree and can bear fruits within 6 months to 12 months from the date of planting the tree.
The small black seeds of the papaya are also edible They actually taste pretty much like black pepper and there are countries where the papaya seeds are used as black pepper alternative.

Best time to eat papaya

For maximum results, people looking to lose weight quickly should consume papaya during breakfast and as a snack, between lunch and dinner. For breakfast, pair papayas with a source of good quality protein and a small amount of healthy fats. Eating papaya as a healthy snack after lunch, helps you stay full for longer.

Papaya contains a chemical called papain. Papain breaks down proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. That's why it works as a meat tenderizer. However, papain is changed by digestive juices, so there is some question about whether it could be effective as a medicine when taken by mouth.

Papaya also seems to have antibacterial, antifungal, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and immune-stimulating effects.
